Cancellation Policy

Phemmie’s Place Client Readiness Policy To help your appointment run smoothly, please arrive fully prepared for your scheduled service. Deposit Policy A $45 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to schedule an appointment. $40 goes toward the cost of the hair/service, and the remaining $5 is a convenience fee. If the deposit is not received at the time of scheduling, your appointment will be canceled. Deposits are applied to the total price of your service. You also have the option to pay in full with no additional cost. You are allowed to reschedule one time only before your deposit is forfeited. Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, your $40 deposit may be refunded or used toward your rescheduled appointment. If you do not call, text, or email at least 24 hours before your appointment, your $40 deposit becomes a cancellation fee and will not be refunded. Same-day cancellations will forfeit your deposit. Hair Preparation Clients must arrive with hair that is clean, fully detangled, and free of heavy oils, gels, grease, dirt, or product buildup. For most braid styles, hair must be properly blown out and stretched unless a wash and blow-dry service was booked in advance. Hair that is not ready may result in an extra fee, service changes, or rescheduling. Dreadlock Retwist The listed price for a dreadlock retwist does not include washing. Retwist pricing only includes the time taken to retwist the locs and the time needed for the hair to dry after retwisting. Washing is a separate service and must be booked separately for an additional fee. Hair, Scalp & Extensions Clients must have a safe and healthy scalp before service. Service may be refused or rescheduled for open sores, excessive irritation, signs of infection, or unsafe scalp conditions. Clients must bring the correct hair type, color, and amount needed unless hair is included or discussed before the appointment. Pricing Listed prices are starting prices and may change based on length, size, hair thickness, short hair, detangling, washing, blow-drying, or last-minute style changes. Late Arrival If you are 10–20 minutes late, a $25 late fee will be added. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled. Guests Please do not bring extra guests or children unless they are being serviced. By booking, you agree to this policy.
